Dapoxetine / Priligy Review

Dapoxetine, also known as priligy, is the first oral medicine specifically created to treat premature ejaculation.

It’s not currently available in every country, though is rapidly being approved in more every year. Currently, you still can’t get it on prescription in the United States, for example.

It’s important to note that it can’t permanently cure premature ejaculation – you have to take it every time you have sex.

What is dapoxetine?

Dapoxetine is a member of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) family of drugs, which are typically used as anti-depressants.

The original idea was actually to create a new anti-depressant, but it never came to be. Instead, it was found to work in delaying orgasm.

Anti-depressants are sometimes prescribed by doctors to help with premature ejaculation. They’re well known to be effective in delaying ejaculation. But this is the first time a drug of this kind has been manufactured purely for this purpose.

It comes in two different dose levels – a 30 mg and 60 mg version. You would usually start on 30 mg and move up to 60 mg if necessary.

What makes it different?

Anti-depressants have long been offered to men to help with premature ejaculation. For example, fluoxetine (Prozac), citalopram, sertaline, paroxetine, clomipramine, and fluvoxamine have all been tried.

The main problem with these drugs, however, is that you need to take them every day. This is to ensure that the ejaculation delay effect will work when you come to have sex at any point during the day.

But would you want to take a powerful anti-depressant every day if you don’t suffer from depression?

You may end up facing some of the common side effects of anti-depressants. And some of those side effects involve your sexual function: a reduction in sexual libido or increased risk of sexual dysfunction. Out of the frying pan and into the fire, as they say.

In contrast, dapoxetine takes action faster than those anti-depressants. The body absorbs it quickly, so you can take it a couple of hours before you think you might have sex. The body also eliminates it quickly, reducing the risk of the longer-term side effects.

The benefit then is that it can be used as an on-demand treatment for premature ejaculation. You don’t have to constantly cover yourself by taking a pill every day. And this is a key point if you don’t have sex very frequently.

My experience

Dapoxetine still isn’t easily available in the United Kingdom. I was able to get hold of it privately though. This proved quite expensive, working out at about £15 per pill.

My usual lasting time during sex was pretty short. Between one and eight minutes was the normal time I could have sex without needing to stop for a while to reduce my arousal.

I did find that the 30 mg dose of dapoxetine I took improved my lasting time. Over the couple of weeks that I experimented with it, I found I was able to last between two and eight minutes on average.

So it didn’t exactly turn me into a marathon man overnight, but it was still an improvement. And the good thing was that it worked every time, as long as I took the tablets on average two hours before.

So that’s the good news. The bad news is the headaches. Dapoxetine is known to cause some side effects in a small percentage of men, and it seemed I was one of those.

The first time I thought it was perhaps due to the anxiety of trying out a new drug. But in fact I experienced unpleasant headaches the first few times I took it. It did seem to improve after that but didn’t disappear altogether.

So would I recommend taking them? I’m not a medical professional, so it’s perhaps best to talk it through with your own doctor if you want to try it. I do recommend doing two things though:

  • That you don’t buy it online if you live in a country where it isn’t licensed for use yet.
  • That you consider whether you need a powerful drug like this to treat your premature ejaculation.

Which countries have approved Dapoxetine?

Currently, dapoxetine has been approved and marketed in many countries, including Sweden, Finland, Austria, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Spain, Mexico, South Korea, New Zealand, Australia, France, Malaysia, Philippines, Argentina, and Uruguay.

It’s available in the United Kingdom, both on prescription through the National Health Service and private online pharmacies. It’s not currently approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in the United States though.

Should I buy it online?

It’s a personal choice to buy priligy online or not. However, it’s a choice which comes with risks attached.

There are a number of online pharmacies selling authentic priligy. There are also a worryingly large number of online companies selling counterfeit products.

Are you sure you can tell the difference between a trustworthy and a fake source just from their website? If you’re determined to buy it online, then here are some things to consider:

  • If the website looks bad, is very small or selling nothing other than dapoxetine, then look elsewhere.
  • Do some background checks on the company name of the website.
  • Some counterfeit drugs are ineffective, so you may end up wasting your money.
  • Some counterfeit drugs are dangerous. They may contain harmful components such as lead paint or animal poison.

There’s an eye-opening article written by the Pharmacy Times outlining the many dangers of buying prescription drugs from online pharmacies.

Having said that, I’ve bought it from an online pharmacy in the U.K. and as far as I can tell, it was the authentic product.

What evidence is there that it works?

The main evidence for the effectiveness of dapoxetine can be found in a large research review conducted by Dr. Chris G McMahon in 2012.

He reviewed five major studies that had involved over 6000 men in total. His main findings were:

  • For men who last an average of 0.9 minutes, a 30 mg dose increased that to 3.1 minutes.
  • A 60 mg dose increased it to 3.6 minutes.
  • Patients on a placebo increased to 1.9 minutes.
  • A significant number of men reported that their premature ejaculation was better with dapoxetine.

So it appears that on average dapoxetine does increase the lasting time by a couple of minutes on average, which was my experience also.

An improvement in the feeling of control

The study also notes the change in men’s belief about their control level. Before the percentage of men saying they thought it was good or better was 0.9%. With 30 mg priligy this was 26.2%. With 60 mg priligy it was 30.2%. And with the placebo it was 11.2%.

This level of satisfaction is similar then to a report in the U.K. website, Netdoctor, which says:

Unfortunately, the trial results we’ve seen so far suggest that in reality only about 45 percent of men reported that the drug gave them control that was fair, good or very good.

So it seems then that the evidence that it works is strong, but it still might not be good enough for many men.

Side effects and safety

Dr. McMahon also reviewed how many of the 6000 men experienced side effects with the drug. The percentage of men who experienced side effects with the 30 mg dose were:

  • Nausea – 11%
  • Dizziness – 5.8%
  • Headache – 5.6%
  • Diarrhea – 3.5%
  • Nasopharyngitis – 3.2%
  • Somnolence – 3.1%
  • Insomnia – 2.1%
  • Fatigue – 2%

And with the 60 mg dose:

  • Nausea – 22.2%
  • Dizziness – 10.9%
  • Headache – 8.8%
  • Diarrhea – 6.9%
  • Nasopharyngitis – 2.9%
  • Somnolence – 4.7%
  • Insomnia – 3.9%
  • Fatigue – 4.1%

This was far more than with the placebo, for example just 2.2% had nausea. And the highest was headaches, with 4.8% of men having them with the placebo.

In addition to these common side effects, there were also reports of a very small number of men experiencing snycope:

It was concluded that dapoxetine is associated with vasovagal-mediated syncope (a temporary inability of the brain to control blood pressure and heart rate adequately causing syncope), but otherwise caused no other cardiovascular adverse events.

In concluding, Dr. McMahon does state though that dapoxetine is safe to use for the majority of men.

You should be aware that it does come with warnings that you shouldn’t take it if you have certain health conditions. That’s why it’s so important to discuss taking it with a doctor first.

Study shows high rate of discontinuation

In 2017, a study was published in which 182 men were asked about their usage of dapoxetine for two years. They found that the discontinuation rate was ‘high’. After six months, 79.1% of men had stopped using it. 90.1% had stopped by the end of the two year period.

The main reasons given for stopping were:

  • Cost (29.9%)
  • Disappointment that dapoxetine was required every time sexual intercourse was contemplated (25%)
  • Side effects (11.6%)
  • Perceived poor efficacy (9.8%)
  • Search for other treatment options (5.5%)
  • Unknown (18.3%)

Conclusion

The way you decide to treat premature ejaculation is a personal choice. The frustration it causes understandably leads many men to be willing to try different treatments.

There’s no doubt that dapoxetine can help many men to improve their premature ejaculation, but it’s still not ideal.

Even if it does work, my personal tests found that it may only extend your lasting time by a few minutes. Whilst this is certainly an improvement, the side effects need to be carefully weighed with the benefit.

And a lengthy study shows that many men will stop using it rather than rely on it for years on end.

  5. Tried dapoxetine a few years ago. It definitely suppressed ejaculations, night and day difference. However, I found the mood swings so jarring and unpleasant that I had to throw most of it away.

I just received an order of (20) 60mg dapoxetine from an online “Canadian” pharmacy and paid $42.15 plus shipping- $20 for expedited from India, which means $2.11 per pill. They also included 4 free bonus Viagra in the deal. I’ve been buying Tadacip (Tadalafil/ or generic Cialis) from a few different CA pharms over the years, without scripts.     I have had this prescribed via a GP.
    In all honesty, it’s cheaper, more effective and convenient to use a delay spray.

    Whilst it did work for me, in a similar fashion to the author, it was always a bit hit and miss, and I would still have to check my action, which means I didn’t dare let my partner cut loose and ride me too vigorously.

    The product is just too expensive to experiment with and too much planning involved.

Hi, I’m thinking about taking these for PE, It’s very expensive in the UK, 30mg 3tablets cost £20 so I wanna first try 30mg tablet to see if it works however if it doesn’t work, can I take 2X30mg togther or it has to be one 60mg tablet? I don’t wanna spend £30-40 on extra tablets if it ain’t gonna improve anything that’d be waste of money.

  13. Thanks for the excellent review. I’m 53, still have regular sex: 3-5 times pw generally. PE was never an issue when I was younger. It is now. It has been for the last few years, something I put down to a weakening of the prostrate (I don’t have that squeeze muscle anymore, it’s just gone) though I have since been told that isn’t the reason.

    Anyway, two questions: 1) Do you know if any of the side effects you mention effects are more pronounced for older men? 2) It’s expensive online, 3 tabs for £25-27. Do you know if it’s obstainable as a prescription NHS drug – that I’d pay for obviously but not at that price?

My girl is upset because I made her come twice but I didn’t come at all.. oh well, I feel awesome (something only men will understand) for the record I’m 25 years old. I drank a little vodka, took half a priligy and half a cialis (30mg each I think). The perfect remedy. My goal is not to cum..( it makes you feel bad afterward, lookup semen retention…) anyways, I don’t really have too much of a problem with PE but being able to have sex without constantly holding back turns you into a whole other person.   17. In my opinion, RITALIN ( methylphenidate hydrochloride ) is far better than Dapoxetine. Last week, i took my first and probably last dose of dapoxetine 60 mg 3 hours before sex on an empty stomach. It didn’t extend the time too much though i also used delay spray. Side effects were diarrhea that night and tiredness alongwith pain in eyes next day. I have used ritalin 10 mg ocassionally but last night i doubled the dose. Took ritalin 20 mg 2 hours before sex. Also took generic viagra 50 mg and applied delay spray as well. With different thrusting speeds/ positions, we continued for full 3 hours without getting a break. Slept only for 3 hours but felt very relaxed in the morning. Ritalin has very few side effects as compared to dapoxetine and more effective but remember that it can cause ED sometimes in high dose so always start with 10 mg.

Unfortunately, there came a time when i couldn’t last long even using delay spray so i started using condom as well. I don’t like condom and it took me a long time to get rid of it. I read about RITALIN in a discussion forum. RITALIN is a stimulant used to treat ADHD ( Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ) by working on dopamine levels and dopamine has a very important role in our sex life. I found out that it can be used to treat PE as well so I thought to give it a try. My friend arranged it for me and I started from 10 mg dose. First time I used RITALIN, I felt very relaxed and active after an hour. Then I used the combo of viagra + delay spray and started our session of love making. I felt a huge difference from the beginning and could control myself almost in every position. Next time i just used combo of viagra & delay spray and didn’t perform like previous session. Third time i took RITALIN again and it worked very well. So in my case, RITALIN surely helps me overcome my PE problem.

          Thanks for sharing your experience. This is the second time in a week a reader has mentioned Ritalin. I’m not sure where this advice is coming from, as I hadn’t seen it before. I’ll have to do some digging around. Can you tell me which forum you read that said Ritalin works for PE? I’d also be careful taking viagra with other medication. There are many possible complications with viagra and other drugs, so it’s worth checking with your doctor that it’s ok to mix them. Personally, I wouldn’t. I’ve taken viagra and generic sildanafil, and had enough side effects with both to make me cautious about adding even more drugs to the mix!

I took this stuff I went over board and took 120 mg and did have sex until 8 hours of taking the pills due to gf running late from work…..once we started after 2 hours I still couldn’t come and not even close for a guy who couldn’t last 3 minutes before from acquired pe, with my gf we banged for 1 1/2 hours she was riding me like hard and crazy sweat pooring off her head and another 1/2 of oral and she couldn’t get me to cum.           That’s a good point. 120 mg is much higher than the recommended dose. If you look at the advice on the site medicines.gov.uk for example, it says start with 30mg. Only if the patient doesn’t respond should 60mg be tried. At no point does it mention taking 4 times the recommended dose!

        However, some men do generally have a great experience with a product, so it’s difficult for me to filter them – though I do try!

  19. I am in the US and have had PE for decades (I’m in my 40s). Dapoxetine is the only thing that’s worked for me. I don’t take it all that often but it’s good to spice up my sex life with occasional marathon sessions. Several problems: (1) it only works for me when I take the larger dose (or at least 3/4 of a larger dose pill); (2) I usually get terrible nausea, sometimes causing me to be less interested in sex; (3) it only works if I take it about 2-3 hours before sex. 1 hour never works; (4) often I simply cannot ejaculate if I’ve waited 3+ hours before sex — it’s not the worst problem in the world, but after 20 minutes or so, my wife gets tired and annoyed.

      Thanks for your comment and for sharing your experience. I can see why that would be frustrating for you! It sounds like a lot of negatives to achieve the goal of longer sex. Perhaps on those days, you could dedicate it to your wife, and stop when she’s satisfied?
      But to me, the nausea doesn’t sound good, and would put me off too. I guess it’s a trade-off you need to decide on yourself, and perhaps continue the search for other techniques that suit you better.

  20. THis is an excellent article…I heard about Priligy about 5 years ago, and was hoping it would be approved in Canada within a couple years. Still nothing. The way it works here it’ll probably be another 10 years before I can get it legally from a pharmacy.

    Does anyone know a >reputable and trustworthy< online pharmacy that will deliver to Canada? I understand the risks with generic Dapoxetine, but after extensive research I'm willing to trust the Indian manufacturer Sun Pharma that makes the generic called Duralast (maybe there are other generics that are also OK)?

  21. I have a big to very penis and its so strong at times it wont bend from a 45 degree angle. It depends how turned on I am. I would like to last longer. I dont time it but sometimes Im very vigorous when I have sex and go for it like a commando and it last 2 mins So that its a big cardio vascular work out. Maybe 5 mins tops with standing doggie going slower. The idea of 25 mins humping seems boring. But I use emla cream to last longer sometimes. Dapoxetine made me feel dizzy and did not work with 30 mg

      Thanks for your comment. Have you tried a longer build up instead of going at it hard from the start? Perhaps a longer session won’t be so boring if you know you’re going to build up. And at the end of the day, it’s unlikely your partner will be satisfied with 2 mins hard sex and nothing more. So it might seem boring to you, but I’d personally be thinking about what my partner wants and needs before myself. If you can both be happy with longer sex that finishes harder, why not try that?

      • I have mild tendency towards premature ejaculation so I started the following policy with my first partner. I always make sure she has at least one orgasm – if not more – before I get down to business of climaxing myself. That way if I come to fast for her to orgasm with me, it ok because she has already had one or more orgasms. I have followed this policy with every other partner I’ve had in my 60 years, including my wife and Paramores. All my women have appreciated my self imposed policy. It demonstrates to them that I care about their pleasure, as well as my own pleasure. My policy of extended foreplay with my partner always having one or more orgasms prior to me having an orgasm is great for relationship building and maintenance over the course of many years. : o )

      I haven’t tried the combination myself, but I know there have been readers commenting that they have done. I’d be cautious though as both are quite powerful drugs. Personally, I find drugs like Cialis help with PE too, one way or another, so it might be worth thinking about the need to take both.

I ordered Dapoxetine and cialis generic from a website that ships from India the cialis generic works very good not 100% as the brand name but probably 97% as good but is way cheaper. the Dapoxetine i never tried so I ordered some but it works I bought 60mg and cut them in half my normal time was 10-15 mins taking the Dapoxetine my time is 25-40 mins but I have more control taking the Dapoxetine. I could last longer if I wanted to or go when I want to, it seems like it desensitizes me so I technically never needed Dapoxetine but I wanted to go longer. after 15 mins she is long since done with multiple orgasms so I tend to use Dapoxetine if we are going away for a few nights one night I’ll take it and go 30-40 mins just for a WOW factor.

    As to ordering online I use the same place their meds come in sealed blister packs word of advice look for reviews, look for blister packs, and try a small dose of the Med to see how you feel with it. I had used brand cialis so I knew what it did for me and how I felt, first time I bought generic cialis I cut it in half and tried it out once I knew it worked I ordered more. Ordering online can be risky so do your research before you do.

  25. I would like to try Dapoxetine too but here in the US, the only alternative is online ordering. I’ve used the big company in India before (ADC) for ED meds (Sildenafil and tadalafil) but I really don’t know if the products are legit. They seem to work but I’ve not used much in the way of the “real stuff” to compare.

    • I should point out that I also cut the tablets up and rarely, if ever, take the full dose. I like the idea of the Dapoxetine as a separate pill so I can choose the dose of each medication more easily.

      I think that’s a common worry when ordering from online pharmacies. I even wondered the same when I got mine from a UK pharmacy, even though it has positive reviews generally. You just never know these days! Maybe there’s a way to contact a manufacturer and ask them how we can be sure what we’re getting is legit? Have you tried that approach before?

      • I have talked directly to the seller (in India). They assured me that they are only the highest quality. Of course I didn’t expect them to say anything different… :-/

        They also source from more than one manufacturer and I know very little about the different manufacturers. What they have right now is from Sun Pharma. Anyone have any knowledge of them?
        I had looked into Paxil as a PE treatment but from what I’ve read, I would need to take it on a regular basis, not just “as needed”. I never tried it.

        I have experienced lasting for much longer at times without understanding why. Most times it was obviously because I had been having a lot of sex already. At least once, when going at it for the 3rd time that night I lasted for at least 20 minutes with my GF. That tells me it’s possible for me but it was a rare experience. Another time, I lasted very long receiving oral sex (same GF) and she actually asked me if I had taken Paxil because “you never last this long”! That was a great experience but I have no idea what triggered it. Most often I’m struggling to get 2 minutes…

          Yes, they are unlikely to say any different! I haven’t heard of Sun Pharma – maybe another reader will be able to comment on them.
          You’re right about Paxil – that’s one reason I’m definitely not a fan of those meds for PE. Taking them constantly just so you’re ready when sex comes along doesn’t balance out for me.
          What you say at the end makes perfect sense. In an ideal world, every man who struggles with PE would have sex more than once a day, every day! That would definitely help him more than most other things I suspect. In my experience there’s a very clear improvement in my lasting time when I have regular sex.

  26. Hi. Do you need a prescription from the doctor to get Dapoxetine or you can just get it in the pharmacy. Im travelling to Germany in a week where it is available but not sure how to get it…

      I don’t know about Germany specifically. In the U.K. you can’t get it over the counter in the chemist, so you either need to get a prescription from your doctor, or use an online pharmacy which does a kind of mini-screening prescription with a short questionnaire. That’s what I did the last time I got it, and had no issue getting it, and it seemed authentic.

  27. 60mg of generic Poxet-60 made me fell bad as Nan described before. I had to take Gidazepam to calm down and even after this I had about of 4 hours of bad trip. That was my first time and I don’t think I’ll take it again. I suggest to take one pill on alone w/o plans to have a sex to check your personal reaction.

    I have been using both dapoxetine & spray (KY Prolong) together. I used to be 1 – 2 minute ejaculator. I take 60 mg with 3-4 sprays on the head. This gives me total CONTROL over when I ejaculate. I can go as long as I want. I can’t keep my lady off of me!

  29. I have used Dapoxetine (mainly Prigily) for almost 3 years, and it has truly changed the quality of my sex life. In the beginning, I had problems with too large doses. 60 mg literally knocked me down, while 30 mg gave me nausea and a kind of dizziness. Unfortunately, there is no lower dose than 30 mg, so I use a sharp knife to cut the pill into half and then half again. Thus, roughly 7.5 mg work very well for me, with no side effects, and good control over ejaculation for more than two days after taking the pill. My problem is that it is getting more and more difficult to get the medicine in my country (Denmark), even though I have a receipt from my doctor. Can anyone recommend me a reliable website that can sell Prigily to other countries?

      Thanks for your comment. It’s very helpful to hear the experiences of other men. It’s interesting that you found a much smaller dose worked for you – that seems to be the way forward with several PE treatments I’ve tried. I don’t know of any website that sends to Denmark. If you like, you can do some research into the UK online chemists that say they send to Denmark, reply here or send me an email and I’ll tell if you if I have any experience with them personally. And perhaps other readers will have suggestions.

  30. Has anyone taken 90mg of Priligy? Just curios to see if results better. I usually ejaculate within 2 mins without medication. On 30mg I can go on for 4 mins and on 60mg for about 6-7 mins. Maybe 90mg would last me 10 mins?

      I haven’t personally, and don’t think I’d want to either because of the risk of side effects being worse. I’d recommend sticking to the recommended doses unless your doctor says it’s safe to take more.

    • I find giving the drug more time to works increases its efficacy a LOT! I maintain a window of three hours before activity. if I have sex like one and a half hours after taking it then it add minutes. but after three hours full control.
      Also drop and antihistamine 10 to 20 min before the Depo and the side effects that happen are almost non existent, that was a big relief for me as they were nasty.

        • I understand an antihistamine to counteract SSRI side effects is practiced with other drugs in the same class. I didn’t read anything on contradictions which I recall.

Hi friends i have been using Viagra for almost ten years no issues.now i have started taking combination pill that is 50 MG sildanifil citrate +30 MG dapoextene the name is called KUTUB 30 manufactured by a reputed manufacturer in india.if this taken once absolutly no issues and results are excellant.even after 20 to 30 minutes of fore play i am able to last and there after inter course of easily 5 to 8 minutes.but side effects starts if this is taken consequtively for 2 days.like head ache,diaheria,and sleeping long.so i have been advised by doctors not to take daily gap of minimum 24 to 48 hours is required to avoid side effect i can buy in india and send to any one who wants it.ASH,India.

  32. TJ – There is no legal source in the U.S. at this time, which means buying from an Indian or Chinese online pharmacy. I don’t know if it would be allowed for me to publish the name of the online pharmacy where I bought dapoxetine: canadianpharma. I have ordered four times from them, fast delivery etc. but frankly about 35% of the different ED meds I bought were ineffective and a waste of money. The remaining 65% of the products I tried were equivalent to the name-brand drugs. I take Cialis 20 mg. for ED. My local pharmacy charges something like$60.00 per pill (not covered by my insurance, of course), while my price at the online pharmacy was about $2.00/pill. Some of their generic Cialis (tadalafil) is made by Sipla, an Indian pharmaceutical company which also provides nearly all the AIDS medications sent to Africa by the World Health Organization (WHO) and is certainly trustworthy.

  33. Please be careful of buying dapoxetine online. Numerous online pharmacies sell ED meds and depox combined; one offered pill is avanafil 200 mg. + 30 mg. dapoxetine. The avanafil is dosed at something like 4 times the largest “real pharmaceutical” dose. One pharmacy even sells a blend of tadalafil (Cialis – long-acting), sildenafil (Viagra – fast acting) and a non-standard 50 mg. dose of dapoxetine… tread very carefully here. I would seriously recommend talking to a doctor before swallowing *any* pill. Oh, and BTW, wearing a condom is often as effective as using a delay spray or depox, sometimes even more effective. And cheaper.

  34. I am very happy with Dapoxetine when properly dosed. I have moderate ED and mild/moderate PE. Without a ton of oral it’s almost impossible for me to bring my wife off before me and she can’t stand when I stop to maintain, even though I would just finish if I didn’t stop.
    So yes, I dose for both but very little. Sorry if this is in the other article but I haven’t read it yet. It’s best to start very small. I have 100mg Viagra but I chop them and take between 10-25 mg depending on the intensity of the night (without it I’m conscientious and lately stay flaccid (however I’ve always been conscientious and insecure though a pervert at heart)). Similarly, I have the Dapoxetine HCL pictured above but mine are 90mg vs 60. I have and would never taken a full or half dose! I take around 10 mg. I have been happy to out last my mate when I take the combination but be careful… once I took about 25-30 (guessing because I just use a knife to split) at the same time as the Viagra, 2hrs before sex this time, and the Dap kept me down, that night and the next morning! The feeling when it works properly is a slight insensitivity kinda mild numbness (hence don’t take too much and get totally numb) My recommended dose and schedule is: Viagra 1/2hr to 3hr before sex and save the Dapoxetine for 15min-30 min before and small dose. When taken right you don’t need it the next morning and it might even offer benefits the next night. I also have Cialis and it’s not as ‘raging’ as Viagra but good for on call duration: I take 25mg-50mg and it’s usually dependable for the night and next day but I just might not be as firm. I now purchase generics only but have noticed a slight difference between the latest generic Viagra and Viagra Brand. It is “fluffier”, not as solid and I can pinch a dose off a 100mg tablet whereas the Brand Viagra is hard like a Tylenol…

      You’re welcome, glad it was useful. The time it lasts will depend on factors such as your metabolism, but it won’t last 24 hours. You would need to take it again the next day, which is fine to do.

There are techniques like the start and stop method, edging, kegels and reverse kegels which accompany awareness of how your body responds to sexual stimulation. There are various other theories and techniques as well, incorporating everything from breathing to mental focus to position choices.

      There are mixed thoughts about this. Some say no, because they can both cause dizziness so together it could be worse. Some say it’s absolutely fine. The best thing is to ask your doctor. You might also find that Cialis on its own is enough to help you last longer, or be able to have sex sooner after the first time. So I would start just with that and see if it helps, and if not maybe try the other as well.Your GP should be able to help you get hold of it, assuming they approve it.

  39. I would rather take priligy than delay sprays, the whole point of having sex is to enjoy it, if you’re desensitized what’s the point? It sounds like nan had good results with 30 mg, I also think that a couple of minutes to some one that lasts seconds is a 3-4x improvement.

    The average time for men who don’t suffer from PE is 5 minutes, porn has skewed what is normal, if someone who ejaculates immediately upon penetration can last 3 min on priligy that’s a huge improvement as it’s almost the average. This sounds like a good medication to take while doing behavioral therapy, many men use cialis and viagra while behavioral therapy for porn induced ED weaning off until rehabilitation.

  40. Priligy works normally very well with me and has really enhanced my sexual experiences. A 30 mg pill works even two days after eaten. However, it should be treated with respect, as the effect can be very nasty if you take a dose too large for you, you are too tired or you have taken alcohol, even if you are not drunk. Once I tried 60 mg and it literally knocked me down. About one hour after taking the pill, I suddenly realised that I was having tunnel vision, I could not follow the conversation, my pulse went up, sweat started running out my face and when I tried to stand up, the floor slided under my feet and I found myself in the floor. I didn’t loose consciousness, recovered after a few minutes and sex turned out quite okay. But never again 60 mg! After that, I have had two bad experiences with 30 mg (and about 16 good ones), one when I was exhausted and had some wine and one when I had alcohol several times throughout the day. I did not feel drunk, but about an hour after taking Priligy, my pulse went up and I felt shaky, dizzy, with nausea, diarrhoea and sweat poured out. I recovered after some minutes. If I can, I prefer to eat the pill more than one hour before I am going to meet my date.

      Thanks for sharing your experience of priligy. To be honest, after reading this, my reaction would be to advise you to stop taking it! Have you spoken to your doctor about this? I think if you’re having all those side effects, even on the lower dose, it’s not good at all.
