How To Use Delay Sprays – Your Questions Answered

photo of me holding a delay spray

Have you recently bought a delay spray or are thinking of trying one? If so, you might have a few questions about using it correctly.

This is probably one of the most common topics readers ask me about, so in this article I’ll hopefully cover all the questions I’m regularly asked.

Not all sprays are the same

I think it’s important to start off by saying that not all delay sprays and creams work the same way. Many are quite similar, but there are often very important differences.

That’s why it’s important to check the instructions they come with, and the manufacturer’s website. There is, of course, a small problem with that in some cases: not all sprays have a dedicated website with instructions.

There are many generic lidocaine sprays for sale online that have limited instructions. That’s why in my opinion it’s better to stick with the brands which have a dedicated team behind them, rather than a generic product with a cool name, but no support.

A standard way to apply a delay spray

If the spray you’ve bought doesn’t have clear instructions, you have three choices: either try and find instructions, leave it and find a different product, or experiment by following the standard instructions other products give.

You’ll see below that I’ve tied to answer the key questions based on both my personal experience, combined with the information provided by some of the most well-known delay spray companies – Promescent, Super Dragon 6000, Stud 100, Dynamo Delay, Adam & Eve, and Fortacin.

Most lidocaine and benzocaine sprays will work in a similar way to the ones I’ll refer to in this article. However, it’s important to stress that if you follow these instructions for a different product, or one with different ingredients altogether, you do so at your own risk.

1. Start slow

My preference is to start with just one spray, so you can check if your skin will tolerate the ingredients. Most people tolerate them fine, but in my opinion if you’re going to spray your penis, it’s worth being cautious.

And if you find that just one or two sprays works for you, the product will last longer and you’ll save money.

This is the advice the companies give about the number of sprays:

  • Promescent: apply 3 sprays or more, but no more than 10.
  • Stud 100: apply 3 to 5 sprays.
  • Super dragon: apply 2 sprays.
  • Adam & Eve: apply 2 to 5 sprays.
  • Dynamo: 1-3 sprays, and no more than 10.
  • Fortacin: 3 sprays. No more than 9 in 24 hours. Leave 4 hours between each set of 3.

Ideally, you should be able to find the minimum number of sprays that works best for you, and then repeat that number when you next need to. Some men may need one, others five – you just won’t know until you try the product.

2. Target the right area

You can get conflicting advice on where exactly to spray. I think the best thing is to experiment and spray on the most sensitive parts of your penis, not to just cover it all. If you do, there’s a higher chance you’ll numb yourself too much. That can result in erection loss, or just not enjoying the sex as much.

Here’s what the companies say:

  • Promescent: the underside of the penis head, and some on the underside of the shaft.
  • Stud 100: head and shaft of the penis.
  • Super dragon: the head.
  • Adam & Eve: head and shaft of the penis.
  • Dynamo: head and shaft of the penis.
  • Fortacin: the head after retracting the foreskin.

Once you’ve sprayed it, gently rub it in until it appears to be absorbed. This shouldn’t take more than 10-20 seconds to achieve, though maybe longer if you rub it into the shaft as well as the head.

And again, with some experimentation, you should be able to find which part of your penis needs targeting, and which you can leave alone.

3. Flaccid or erect?

It doesn’t matter if you apply it when flaccid or erect. It will work equally well, so it’s up to you to decide what works best for you and your partner.

4. How long before sex to spray?

Different sprays have different timings. None of them allow you to have sex immediately after spraying though. There’s always a waiting time to make sure it’s absorbed and is working, and also so it doesn’t transfer to your partner.

  • Promescent: 5-10 minutes.
  • Stud 100: 5-10 minutes.
  • Super dragon: 5 minutes.
  • Adam & Eve: 5 minutes.
  • Fortacin: 5 minutes.
  • Dynamo: 5-10 minutes.

So you can see that 5-10 minutes is a pretty safe bet if you’re using a lidocaine or benzocaine spray.

5. Do I need to wash it off before sex?

This is probably one of the main areas of confusion, since the companies rarely tell you exactly what they mean by wipe/wash off the excess. Do you use a cloth, water, soapy water, straight away, just before sex?

Here’s what I think is a good idea to do:

  • Spray and gently rub it in. Note that Fortacin don’t say to rub it in, just to spray and wait. Some sprays don’t drip so you don’t need to rub them in. Others do advise rubbing it into the skin once you’ve sprayed.
  • Wait for the recommended time, usually 5-10 minutes.
  • Wipe off any excess with a damp cloth or tissue. Even if you can’t see any excess, you might want to give it a wipe anyway.
  • Wash your hands.

The washing bit is confusing as no company is totally clear about what to do. Personally, I think it’s good to experiment. I find a quick wipe after rubbing in helps remove most excess.

Then a wash or even a shower once the time for absorption has elapsed can help ensure there’s no transference to your partner. The good sprays definitely still work even after a lengthy hot shower in my experience, so there’s no need to worry about the effect not being there.

6. Wash your hands

Very few companies mention this, but those that do say it’s important. You should wash your hands after applying it to make sure you don’t transfer it to your partner, or get it in other sensitive areas such as the eyes.

7. How long will the delay spray last?

This very much depends on the person and the spray. In my experience, most of them keep you numb for at least an hour.

8. Can you choose to have unprotected sex or use a condom?

This again depends on the spray, so it’s important to check with the manufacturer.

  • Promescent: both are ok.
  • Stud 100: both are ok, but you should use latex condoms.
  • Super dragon: both are ok.
  • Adam & Eve: both are ok – use latex condoms.
  • Dynamo: they don’t specify.
  • Fortacin: both are ok. But for condoms, you can’t use a latex-free female or male condom made of polyurethane.

9. Can you have oral sex?

Once again, some say yes and others that it’s best to avoid it. The reasons usually being a bad taste or the risk of transference to your partner.

  • Promescent: yes, as long as you wash it off before.
  • Stud 100: yes, but wait up to 15 minutes first.
  • Super dragon: no because the taste might be unpleasant.
  • Adam & Eve: can’t find information about this.
  • Dynamo: yes as long as you wash it off first.
  • Fortacin: they don’t say. But they do say to take care if you accidentally numb their mouth.

10. Can you use it if you’re trying to get pregnant, or already are pregnant?

Most sprays advise against using them if you’re trying to get pregnant, or if your partner already is pregnant. Here’s a helpful quote from the Promescent website:

lidocaine has not been proven to be safe to use in pregnancy. We recommend to err on the side of caution

The Stud 100 website also says not to use it if your partner is pregnant.

Fortacin has a clear instruction about this:

Fortacin should not be used whilst your partner is pregnant unless you use an effective male condom…Fortacin may reduce the possibility of pregnancy. Therefore, patients hoping to achieve conception should either avoid using Fortacin, or, if this medicine is essential to achieve penetration, should wash the penis as thoroughly as possible five minutes after Fortacin has been applied, but prior to intercourse.

11. How often can you use a spray?

There’s no clear answer to this question, as it will depend on the exact type and quantity of numbing ingredient. Some sprays have instructions about this, but many don’t.

Here are two examples:

  • Promescent: no more than 20 sprays in 24 hours.
  • Fortacin: no more than 9 sprays in 24 hours, with 4 hours between each use.

12. Can you use a delay spray and viagra type drugs together?

As far as I’m aware, there are no safety concerns directly related to mixing desensitizing sprays and medication like viagra. So as long as it’s safe for you to use each one individually, it should be okay to combine them too.

Personally, I would err on the side of caution though and ask your doctor for their advice about combining medications especially if you take any other medication currently.

13. Preventing wastage of the spray

A clever trick I got from a reader is to first spray into a small glass. Then you can dip your finger into the liquid formed and rub it into the area you want to on your penis. This can help prevent wastage by the spray missing some of the penis.

The alternative is to spray from close up – 2 to 3 cm away should be fine.

14. What about delay creams?

Although sprays are the most common form of desensitizing product, there are some in cream form. Personally, I’m not a fan of creams, as you can never be sure if you’re using the same amount each time. However, with creams you can follow the same standard guidelines above.

Your thoughts & questions

Do you have any experience with using delay sprays or creams, and have any advice to offer other readers about the best way to use them? Or do you have any questions I haven’t answered here?

And if you found the article helpful, I’d really appreciate a quick comment to let me know.

  1. Hi,
one of my patient poured a drop at the mouth of penis (at the entrance of penis). He got amazing long last effect. I want to know whether its safe if it get inside the uthera?

    • Hi Kosri
To be honest, I’ve never thought about it or seen anything written about it. I imagine it’s normal to get a little inside just when spraying it anyway. But I’d probably avoid intentionally spraying a lot directly up there, just to be on the safe side.

  2. I used Stud 5000. I sprayed three times all over the head and waited about 30 minutes before intercourse and used a condom, due to the period of time we had intercourse she needed lubrication and applied vaseline to her virgina this resulted in the condom splitting.
I have been sore (no discoloration) around the head for 10 days, this was not a regular partner. I do not have any signs of an STD. Can the sensation be a side effect of the spray and using too much.

    • Hi Dunz
It doesn’t seem likely to me. I think when you say ‘due to the period of time we had intercourse she needed lubrication’ it gives a better clue as to why you might have been sore. But after 10 days you should be better, unless you’ve had long sex again in that time? I’d maybe think about getting a check-up just to be sure. Some STDs don’t have visible signs.

  3. Hi there, tried about 3 sprays on my junk and left it 10 mins before intercourse.

Couldnt get it erected later due to it’s numbness. Any tips?

    • Hi
That’s unfortunately a common problem with these sprays. My main advice would be:
      1. Use 1 spray, not 3.
      2. Don’t cover the whole penis – just a targeted sensitive area like the frenulum.
      3. Try only putting it on when you’re already erect.
      4. Try a different spray if it keeps happening.

    • Hi Ak
Try the spray when masturbating to see if it helps. You could also get a fake vagina sex toy to practice with. If you don’t have sex often, it’s a really good way to keep yourself in form.

  6. I am suffering from premature ejaculation I want to use delay spray who have no side effects. Please suggest product name.

    • Hi Sumi
It’s best not to use a delay spray if your partner is pregnant, or you’re trying to conceive. The effects are not known, so to be on the safe side, companies advise not using it unless with a condom.

  7. Hi,
This is maran. I going to use the delay spray first time. i am too much afraid because there is any side effects or health problems. Can you please guide me and also this is a good brand 68000 delay spray by shark?

    • Hi Maran
I don’t think you need to be afraid. Be careful when you use it, yes, but afraid, no! I haven’t tried shark spray, so can’t tell you. But if you follow the instructions in the pack, and this article, you should be fine.

  8. Hi, Ethan
After applying the dragon spray, I didn’t wait for long and started having sex and released before I could know. But after, I couldn’t erect again. Can that be an effect?
And what’s the cause of that?

    • Hi Francis
Some men have problems getting an erection because they lose too much sensitivity with the spray. Don’t worry though, it’s a temporary problem. Try using less next time, and if it’s still an issue, you might have to try a weaker spray or a different technique.

  11. Hi

Ive Previously Use Durex Extended Pleasure Condom Which Had Benzocaine
On The Tip Of The Condom Immediatly After Putting The Condom I Lost My
Erection And Had Red Spots All Over My Lower Body So Do’u Think It Would Be
Safe For Me To Use Promescent??

    • Hi Rocky
That doesn’t sound nice at all. I would personally avoid all products with lidocaine in that case, which unfortunately does include promescent. But, if you really want to try a different product, you could speak to your doctor to ask them about lidocaine allergy.

  12. Hello. I just want ask u about my penis. My penis is too much sensitive, so I purchased delay spray. when I spray at under side of head. So my penis sensitivity decrease but my penis is not erected. Its gone on fluccid position, so how can sex will do. Please help me. Waiting ur reply.

    • Hi Zubi
Which spray did you use? Unfortunately, there is a risk that delay sprays can cause erection loss. Sometimes it’s because it’s too strong, or your apply too much. And some man just find it more difficult to get an erection if the physical sensation is reduced. The key is to use a good spray, use as little as possible, and maybe only apply it when you’re already feeling very aroused, or have an erection already.
      Ethan

      • Thanks Ethan For Replying me… u asking me which spray i use . so its Name STRONG HORSE POWER DELAY SPRAY 55000.. U can search on google. u will find my description about that.. So Ethan.. If i don’t use spray. i ejaculate too early ( Approx half a minute). Due to Penis Sensitivity. When i use spray. so my penis gone on flaccid position. i am too much worried about my Penis. please help me and suggest me. how can handle this situation..

        • Hi Zubi
I haven’t tried that one, so can’t comment specifically. I’d recommend trying one that is more well known, and put as little as possible on. You don’t even have to use a whole spray – just part of a spray might be enough for you.
          Ethan

      • Ethan…i have a question also.. If i take Vigra Tablet and Delay spray also on my penis. so can i do sex last longer ….?

  13. If water base (i think even other types also) cream is used, there are more chances that the condom will come off, you will not know untill you finish. … it happened to me many times… the reason is, the cream doesn’t get absorbed and it works as a lube to loozen the condom.. thats why i never prefer creams.

  14. Hello

I used this spray just before having sex probably 10 mins before, bare in mind it’s my first time so I didn’t know what to expect. Sprayed it twice and rub it but my Penis got really numb and found it hard to erect since I wasn’t feeling anything nor was my penis. I watched porn and everything but nothing happened at all and for that reason I cancelled sex with my partner as I didn’t wanna disappoint.

Please tell me where I went wrong and is this normal because there is no way you can get an erection while being numb.

Any answers would do long as it’s logical.

    • Hi Steven
Sorry you had that experience – which spray specifically did you use?
It can happen if you put too much on, or if it’s a spray known to be very strong. And some men do react more to the numbing effect.
      So my advice is this:
      1. Only use 1 spray first to test it.
      2. Don’t rub it into the whole penis – just the head, so you still feel the shaft fully. You can also try applying it after you get an erection, not before.
      3. If it’s still a problem, then try a different spray.
      4. If it continues to be a problem with a different spray, then it might be that it’s not the right treatment for you.

  15. Hi Ethan. Please what’s your take on Peineile delay Spray? Wondering if anyone here has used it-please share if you have.

  16. Hi Ethan,

Thank you for the article, it gave me some really good insight that I haven’t really been able to find anywhere else. I just have one question though. Does using any of the sprays (primarily Promescent) make for any long term E.D.-like side effects in the near or distant future?

    Thank you for a reply

    • Hi Iraklis
Thanks for your comment. I’m glad you found the article useful. As far as I’m aware there are no long-term side effects like E.D. coming from these sprays. I know some men complain about having problems when they use them – myself included at times – but the problem always passes once the spray wears off.
      Ethan

  17. Hi Ethan,

Really useful article so thank you. Just a quick question – I will feel embarrassed if I get out a delay spray 5 minutes before I’m about to have sex. Especially if I don’t know the person very well. What is the longest time I could spray it before sex and for it to still work?

    • Hi Ed
Thanks for your comment and compliment – it’s always nice to know an article is appreciated:-)
I understand your concern, but luckily the sprays can last a surprisingly long time. I’ve found that many lidocaine sprays will still have an effect 2 hours later. So if you spray it 30-60 mins before sex, you’ll probably find it still works well. My advice would be to experiment on your own though to see. You’ll be able to feel the numbness even if you don’t engage in any sexual activity, so you can just spray it and keep checking how it feels to see how long it takes to wear off for you.

  18. I’ve start using dooz spray and it works perfectly , last for and hour and i know when i wanna to ejaculate as per my partner expectations, trying difference positions in intercourse.. thankful to the spray.. :) hence worried about giving my penis to blowjob to my partner whether i’ll ejaculate soon, will i allow for BJ ?

    • Hi Visw
Thanks for your comment and for sharing. It’s useful to hear from someone who had a positive experience with a particular spray. If you had such good results during sex, you’ll probably be fine during oral too, unless you find it intensely stimulating psychologically! I would say try it and find out.
      Ethan

      • Hi Ethan,

will it works for one night stand if i spray one time ( 2-3 spray), or how frequent i have to spray again for longer sex..

        • Hi
Yes it will work for a one night stand. You just need to apply it shortly before having sex. They usually last 2-3 hours, so depending on how long you want to have sex for, you might not need to apply it again. And if you have lots of sex, usually you’ll last longer each time. So you might find you don’t even need to use more.
          Ethan

        • Thanks Ethan, and i’m happy to say, first time in my lifetime due to this spray.. i’ve done sex in around 10-15 positions with my partner and last longer and longer..

    • Hi Saaiks
You can if you like, but you might find it numbs you too much. But anyway, most sprays last for a couple of hours at least, so there shouldn’t be a need to use it after an hour unless you just didn’t use enough the first time, in which case it’s fine to add more.
      Ethan

  19. Sir!
I want to ask that in which condition we have to apply delay spray i mean penis should b in erected position or non erected position (hard or loss position of penis ) ? Kindly reply

    • Hi Marten
You can do either. But if you have problems getting an erection because of the numbness, it might be better to apply it when you already have an erection.
      Ethan

  20. PLS I USED THE DRAGON SPRAY AND IT DIDNT WORK. IS THERE A PROBLEM WITH THE SPRAY OR I HAVE TO TRY A DIFFERENT TYPE

  21. HelloI have a lot of sensitivity on the lower part of the penis I am waiting for orgasm in 10 seconds if I not stop i bought stud 5000 I tried twice I made only three spray but I still feel .. what I have to do a lot of spray ?? . To know that erection is good .. I saw an Andrologist I tried an antidepressant for two months did not work..
    Waiting for your reply..

    • Hi Amed
Some men do need more sprays that others. The key is to experiment until you find the dosage that works best for you. But I think it’s important to still have some feeling so you can enjoy sex. If you spray too much, then it makes it less pleasurable and also makes it more likely you’ll have erection problems.
      Ethan

      • Hello Ethan. Do you know indian online pharmacy witch can ship out of india.. I am from morocco we cant find dapoxetine here. The doctor prescribed me priligy 30 mg to ask someone to send it back from EuropeI. tried with a friend in France the pharmacist asks the doctor’s prescription. Same problem in Germany

        • Hi Amed
Sorry, no I don’t know one. You might find it very difficult to get it sent to Morocco from abroad, so I do recommend looking into other techniques too.
          Ethan

  22. If you use a desensitizing spray/cream, will you still be able to feel and/or enjoy the climax? Will you still know when it is coming in time to pull out?

    • Hi Hunter
Yes, you’ll know when it’s going to happen for sure. I think the pleasure can be less, physically. But for me, the mental pleasure from lasting longer and feeling more confident, outweighs the reduction in physical pleasure. But I guess that’s a decision for you to take. It’s also a reason I recommend experimenting to find the lowest possible dosage that helps.
      Ethan

    • Hi Khalid
It depends partly on what the ingredients are of the spray and how you use it. But generally, as long as you wash it properly before you have sex, there shouldn’t be any problems. But, don’t try to get your partner pregnant when using a spray, as the effects are not known.
      Ethan

    • Hi Joe
Yes, definitely. The idea is that you should wash yourself with soap and water before having sex to prevent transference. I’ve personally had a long shower and scrubbed myself with soap and hot water to see if it still works, and those with lidocaine definitely still work even after a long hot shower!

  23. Recently I just came to realize that the dynamo delay spray doesn’t work well on me anymore. Even if I just spray once on the penis which is just the glans and without spraying on the frenulum, it still go into a flaccid state after less than a minute of erection. I didn’t even feel any numbness at all.

I am starting to lose faith in the delay spray unlike the last time. This is because the last time when I spray on the glans and frenulum, my penis went back to a flaccid state after less than a minute of erection. And now even if I didn’t spray on the frenulum and just the head, the problem still occurs. Moreover, I only wait for about 5 to 10 minutes or 10 to 15 minutes before musturbation with my toy and when I stroke my penis, I can feel that my penile erection is in good form and a lot stronger.

Overall, I am feeling that this is very unusual as back then when I spray on the frenulum and head of the penis which is an overall of two sprays and waited for about 5 to 10 minutes before musturbation with my sex toy, I never suffer from any loss of erection but manage to prolong my ejaculation with a strong erection. Now even if I just spray on the head, the problem still occur.

Can you kindly advise me on that? Just to remind you that I am currently taking supplements like vigrx plus, l-arginine and macca bioglans which boosts libido and reduces stress.

    Pierre

    • Hi Pierre
Sorry to hear you’re having these issues. I haven’t used Dynamo spray myself yet, so can’t really comment on that one specifically. However, in my extensive experience of using sprays in general, I know that it’s easy to spray too much and be so numb you can’t get an erection. My advice would be to really try to use the smallest amount possible – even if it’s less than 1 spray – try spraying into a clean glass and dabbing just a little with your finger for example. And you could also try washing it off sooner, so less goes into the skin.
But if the problem persists, I recommend changing to a different spray and seeing if you have the same problem or not.
      All the best
      Ethan

  24. What I know about penis physiology is it has two different spots for two different functions. One for erection and one for ejaculation which are supplied by opposite nervous system means. Our target is to erect long with pleasure and to hold ejaculation as long as possible. What I have successfully experienced is head stimulation causes erection and lower surface of shaft causes ejaculation that we want to avoid although it has it’s own pleasure. So just apply spray on lower surface of shaft and lower edges of head directly or by a paint brush to avoid wastage. Do it 2 to 3 times skin absorption of lidocain is slow give it better 20 minutes . it will work for an hour. If you want to confirm this technique, rub your head with oil or soap only without touching shaft. Your penis will be v much sensitive and erected without ejaculation. Here the most imp factor to avoid is mental estimulus by sexual sightation which can indirectly make you relawse. Try it and share your experience.

    • Hi Friend
Thanks for sharing your ideas here. I haven’t heard this theory before in such words, though I do know that it’s a common piece of advice during sex to only do very shallow strokes if you get too aroused. The idea being that by only entering a little way, you do stimulate your penis head, but it helps prevent ejaculation.
This has definitely been true for me, so I can believe that there’s possibly some truth to your theory. I’ll have to do some research to see what I can find.
Perhaps other readers can share their view on this?
      Ethan

      • Hi Ethan
Thanks a lot for comments. Bro you can simply check the nerve supply of penis and their effects on penile function. And you can discuss it with any medical student or doctor as I am also a Anesthetist and I am v well aware of the functions of local anesthetic agent like lidocaine 10% which is safest of all local anesthetic agent. Even I use to give penile block for circum that’s why I am telling you confidently.

        • Hey again
Thanks for adding that information. I’ll try it myself some time this week and see if there’s a big noticeable difference between spraying the head and shaft. I’ll also write to a manufacturer and ask what they think about your idea, as most sprays I’ve seen tell you to spray the frenulum and head primarily, though some do advise spraying the shaft too. I’ve never seen any that tell you to only spray the shaft though, which is why your theory surprised me a little.
          Ethan

        • Hi Ethan
That will be great. I would like to know your experience .If you find any new technique then kindly share. Thanks a lot for response.

        • Hi again,

So I wrote to Promescent and asked them what they thought about your theory. They replied that this isn’t what they advise. They repeated the following advice I’ve seen on most sites and instructions: “We do recommend spraying 2-3 sprays to the man’s more sensitive areas. This is most frequently the frenulum or the underside of the head. After Promescent is absorbed (10-15 mins) it can be washed off with a damp cloth and it won’t affect the efficacy.”
Still haven’t tried your technique myself, but will get round to it!

  25. I need a spray which can be used both for erection and long duration. Can you please advise on this ? Of curse I do not need any side effects as well. Thanks

    • Hi there
Despite what some companies might claim, as far as I’m aware there are no sprays that can achieve that. So really, if you have a problem with both issues, you probably need to tackle them independently, and try to make sure the choice of treatment for one doesn’t make the other worse! It can be a particular problem for men using delay sprays, who then find the numbing makes their erection difficult even worse. So if you do use a delay spray, be very careful not to use too much. And if you do find the numbing too strong and your erection difficulties increase, then you will need to find an alternative to the spray.

  26. Hi l have tried dragon spray but one day as I try to spray it enters my penis will it hurt me in any way because is very painful

    • Hi Eddy
If it hurt when you use it, then definitely don’t use it again. You might have had a bad reaction to the lidocaine ingredient. I’d be very careful using any spray containing lidocaine if you had a bad reaction to even one of them.

  27. does the delay spray works when I use it to mastarbute or only in intercourse ?? please reply to me thank you

  28. Hi there, my question is, what do you think about DOOZ 14000 delay spray 40ml, have you heard of it, is it OK…

  29. After I use the dynamo delay spray on my penis, I’ve waited for more than 25 minutes and I realize that my penis has a complete loss of erection for the time being or after less than 5 minutes of erection that I’m able to penetrate it went back to a flaccid state. This is really frustrating because I don’t think I did spray too much on my penis. I only spray like twice or thrice on my penis. It’s the head and frenulum where I spray at. One of my friends advise me to just spray on the head of my penis.

Can you please kindly advise me on that? Is it a must to go straight for musturbation with my toy like 5 to 10 minutes later after spraying? Same goes for sexual intercourse as well that you have to wash your penis off before sex like 5 to 10 minutes later after spraying?

I hope to hear from you soon.

    • Hi Pierre
Unfortunately some men do find delay sprays affect their erection. I would recommend trying just 1 spray, and only apply it to the underside of the head on the frenulum as an experiment. If that doesn’t work, try the whole head next time. But I would avoid the shaft so you can still feel normal pleasure on some of your penis at least. And yes, you need to apply it, wait a bit and wipe off the excess before have sex.

      • Hi Ethan,

Can I go for musturbation or sexual intercourse like 30 minutes later after spraying on the penis even if I just spray a little bit?

Or is it that I have to wash my penis like 10 minutes later after spraying and then I could wait for another 20 minutes before sex? If were to do that, can that prevent a loss of erection?

I hope to hear from you soon.

        Kind regards,
        Pierre

        • Hi Pierre
It depends on the spray you use – their should be instructions. But usually within 10-15 minutes after spraying you can masturbate or have sex. You don’t have to wait 30 minutes for most sprays.
